Parker Road and Arapahoe Road Interchange

Project completed

Project Overview

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has begun the final phase of the Parker Road (SH 83)/Arapahoe Road (SH 88) interchange improvement project.  The $32 million project will construct a grade-separated interchange with Parker Road elevated over Arapahoe Road.  When complete, in December 2011, there will be a full interchange with ramps and limited traffic signals.

The improvements will eliminate the traffic signal on Parker Road allowing for free-flowing traffic through the intersection.  This will also benefit traffic on Arapahoe Road by eliminating the red light signal time that is currently needed to provide for the Parker Road through movement.
