Traffic Signal Face Replacements Across Northwest Colorado

From May through November 2017, crews on this project replaced traffic signal faces (aka, walk and don't walk symbols) across Northwest Colorado.

Work impacted various highways, including US 6, CO 9, US 40, US 50, I-70B, CO 82 and US 550.

Specific work included:

  • replacing traffic signal indications;
  • selecting traffic signal heads and pedestrian signal faces;
  • selecting pedestrian count down heads; and
  • selecting pedestrian pushbuttons.

This work updated the current transportation and pedestrian safety system.
