About the Project

The Colorado Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Castle Rock Construction, completed this $4.6 million project along Interstate 76 (mile markers 55.1 to 61.9) near the town of Wiggins. The purpose of this project was to provide overall improvements along the roadway by replacing concrete; also included in the road work, but not limited to: diamond grinding with sawing and sealing concrete pavement joints, median detour pavement, concrete panel replacement with HMA bond breaker and guardrail work.
