I-76 Bridge Rehabilitation Over Clear Creek

About the Project
On June 1, crews will begin work on the I-76 over Clear Creek project to complete bridge rehabilitation. Work on this project will prevent fatigue cracking on the I-76 bridge over Clear Creek, as well as address other concrete repairs and erosion control.
Proposed Work Schedule

Daytime work hours: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nighttime work hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Traffic Impacts
- Motorists can expect daytime and nighttime intermittent single lane closures in both directions on I-76.
- Beginning in August, motorists can expect various overnight full closures on I-76.
- Speeds will be reduced to 55 MPH during work hours.
- There will be an oversize vehicle width restriction of 12 ft. during work hours.
- Minimal impacts are expected to the Clear Creek Trail, however, the trail may close for brief intervals, as needed, for moving equipment or to protect pedestrians from work occurring directly over the path.
