I-70 CCTV Camera Installation in Northeastern Colorado

Project Complete!

In October 2020, CDOT and Morton Electric, Inc. will begin the furnishing and installation of CCTV Camera and communication equipment along I-70 in Northeastern Colorado.

The project is located between Strasburg and Bethune, CO. Work will be along I-70 from mile point 320 to 428.

There will be several working points, starting at MP 320.80 and moving east to MP 428.80 in Arapahoe, Elbert, Lincoln and Kit Carson Counties.

Location:  Between Strasburg and Bethune, CO along I-70 from mile point 320 to 428.

Proposed Work Schedule

Work will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to  4:30 p.m.

Traffic Impacts

Motorist can expect shoulder work as crew install CCTV cameras along I-70 between Strasburg and Bethune.  Work is expected to be completed by June 2021, barring weather and/or shipment delays.
