Additional Overnight Closure of Southbound I-25 Off-Ramp

On Tuesday, March 29 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., closure of the southbound I-25 off-ramp at Cimarron Street/US 24 are required in order to complete paving activities and set temporary barrier. Traffic will detour via Bijou Street and Cascade Avenue. Click here to view detour map. Lane Restrictions Cimarron Street/US 24

On Tuesday, March 29 through Thursday, March 31 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, and Friday, April 1 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., the traveling public will encounter various single lane restrictions on eastbound and westbound Cimarron/US 24 (between 8th Street and I-25). These lane restrictions are required for pier work for the realignment of the I-25 bridge over Cimarron Street/US 24. 

Click here for additional information of what the traveling public can expect over the next few months. The I-25 Fillmore and I-25 Cimarron Interchange Project coordinate schedules in order to minimize impacts to the traveling public as much as possible during construction.

Drivers are Urged to Slow Down and Pay Attention
  • I-25 speed limit reduced to 55 miles per hour in the I-25/Cimarron project area.
  • Pay close attention when driving near the I-25/Cimarron Project. 
  • Slow down, observe speed limits, avoid distractions, and allow extra time for your commute.
  • Alternative route advised.
