I-225 Ramp Safety Improvements
About the Project
This project entails ramp safety improvements at two locations: I-225 southbound between Iliff Avenue and Parker Road and I-225 southbound at the split off-ramp to I-25 northbound.
The first location will include widening and adding an auxiliary lane on I-225 southbound approaching the Parker Road off-ramp. Other work includes widening the off-ramp to southbound Parker Road to extend the two lane section of the off ramp.
Work at the second location includes widening the ramp for part of its length to extend the optional exit lane from mainline I-225.
Both sites include concrete paving, adding storm sewers, barrier, signage, striping and seeding.
