About the Project

Crews on this project added an auxiliary lane to eastbound I-70 from the Ward Road on-ramp to the Kipling Street exit in Jefferson County.

Specific construction included:

removing asphalt;
excavating and grading dirt to expand the highway, on which crews will pave with concrete and asphalt;
adding new signs; and
repairing a sound wall
