On Monday, March 26, crews began repairing the Eagle County Bridge on westbound I-70, between Wolcott and Edwards.

Specific work includes:

repairing bridge deck;
replacing steel girders; and
replacing expansion joints.

Schedule & Travel Impacts

Through July, expect an eastbound detour on I-70 that crosses over to the westbound side, creating two-way traffic on the westbound side.
The speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph.
From late July to early August, expect one-lane closures in both directions of I-70, with a reduced speed limit of 45 mph.
From early August to early September, expect periodic one-lane closures in both directions of I-70.
