This collaborative project, between the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the City of Pueblo, will provide access to and from I-25, and to the existing and planned residential and shopping center areas west of the interstate. The project also will connect motorists to Pueblo West.
Project work includes:
- construction of a new bridge over I-25.
- construction of two roundabouts.
- construction of a southbound on-ramp and a northbound off-ramp.
- removal of the existing southbound on-ramp from Dix Parkway to I-25, and the northbound off-ramp from I-25 to Dix Parkway.
- widening a portion of Dillon Drive west of I-25.
- modifying the existing west side frontage road.
The project, scheduled to run through October 2016, will be completed from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
