Eastern Timber Bridge Replacement in Rural Colorado
About the Project
This project is currently in the design phase and will utilize a delivery method of CMGC. It will consist of replacing 10 structures in rural eastern Colorado. The method of construction will utilize ABC construction methods in order to lessen the impact on the traveling public.
The project will feature 10 structures, including:
- I-70 Frontage Road (4 structures)
- US-6 (C-22-K)
- US-34 Corridor
Project Schedule
The estimated timeline is starting now until the end of the construction season of 2023.
Bid Announcement
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Colorado Bridge Enterprise (BE) are soliciting Letters of Interest from Contractors interested in providing Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for a project to replace timber structures in Eastern Colorado.
