About the Project:
Work will take place along six different roadways; US Highway 285, Interstate Highway 25, US Highway 6, Interstate Highway 76, Colorado Highway 74, and Colorado Highway 86. The project will happen in 10 different phases.
Project Benefits
- The project will help prevent vehicles from running off the road and going down steep embankments, or veering off the roadway into oncoming traffic
- Guardrails have many important benefits including safety and preventing far more serious crashes
Work Schedule:
- Work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday through Thursday
- Work will last until the end of July
Traffic Impacts:
Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:
- Work site-dependent:
- Vehicles could be reduced to a single-lane with intermittent alternating traffic in either direction
- There will be up to 15-minute delays anticipated
