CO 7 Resurfacing from Boulder to Lafayette

About the Project:

Work will take place along Colorado Highway 7, between the cities of Boulder and Lafayette, Mile Point 55 to MP 60.5. Work will primarily consist of hot mix asphalt milling and paving, striping, pavement markings removal and placement and ADA ramp work. Work will be done in both the eastbound and westbound lanes for a five-mile stretch of CO 7.

Work Schedule:

  • Daytime work hours range Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for ADA Ramp work
  • Nighttime work hours range from Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Some overnight and weekend work is expected

Traffic Impacts:

Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:

  • Vehicles will be reduced to a single-lane, alternating traffic intermittently in either direction, throughout the duration of the project for night operations
  • Lane closures, guided by flaggers and pilot cars, will have up to 15-minute delays
