CO 67 and Kelley's Road Signal and ADA Curb Ramp Improvements
About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin underground utility work at CO 67 and Kelley’s road. This is in preparation of a new signal at this intersection expected to be installed early Spring 2020.
Additionally, in early spring improvements to pedestrian walkways will be made with the installation of ADA compliant curb ramps at various locations in Woodland Park along Colorado 67 from US 24 to Lucky Lady Dr.
In 2017, CDOT began its five-year, Curb Ramp Accessibility Initiative. This project is part of that initiative and will certify the curb ramps identified in the corridors below, meet ADA and PROWAG standards. Curb ramps are required to be in place at every intersection an accessible route crosses a curb to allow access to crosswalks for people with disabilities.
