CO 47 Microsurfacing in Pueblo

About the Project:
Work will take place along Colorado Highway 47 in the northeast area of the City of Pueblo from Mile Point 0 to MP 3. Work will primarily consist of microsurfacing, which is a protective, thin and tough layer of asphalt blended with a finely crushed stone to make a seal coat.
Project Benefits

Work Schedule:
- Work will last approximately one month
- Working hours are Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Traffic Impacts:
Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:
- Vehicles will be reduced to a single-lane, alternating traffic intermittently in either direction, throughout the duration of the project
- Lane closures, guided by flaggers and pilot cars, will have up to five-minute delays
- The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph through the work zone
- There is a 12-foot lane width restriction in place throughout the duration of the project
