About the Project

The Cameron Peak emergency culvert repair project has concluded.

The Colorado Department of Transportation concluded work on the Cameron Peak emergency culvert repair project earlier this month. The project, located in Larimer County 30 miles northwest of Fort Collins on CO 14 from mileposts 76.5 to 86, began in April 2022. Mountain Constructors of Platteville was selected for this project.

The project involved the replacement of three culverts on CO 14 at MP 76.8 and MP 86. Additionally, the project included erosion control, asphalt patching, temporary road striping, precast concrete box culvert, reinforced concrete pipe, and grouted boulder basin. Improvements at the existing culvert sites allow water to flow unobstructed under the roadway. This project benefits motorists by providing a safer highway when snow runoff or rainstorms occur.
