CO 1 Wellington South Resurfacing
Project Complete!
On November 2, the Colorado Department of Transportation completed the CO 1 resurfacing project between Wellington and Fort Collins. The project successfully resurfaced CO 1 from Cleveland Ave. in Wellington to US 287 near the southern edge of Terry Lake in Fort Collins .
The resurfacing improved the driving experience and prolonged the life of the road surface from mile marker 0.0 to mile marker 9.35. There was a 2.3 mile “No Work” zone from mile marker 0.9 to mile marker 3.2 which was not resurfaced. The project also included landscaping restoration and reseeding.
