CO 1 Wellington South Resurfacing

About the Project

On November 2, the Colorado Department of Transportation completed the CO 1 resurfacing project between Wellington and Fort Collins. The project successfully resurfaced CO 1 from Cleveland Avenue in Wellington to US 287 near the southern edge of Terry Lake in Fort Collins.

The resurfacing improved the driving experience and prolonged the life of the road surface from mile marker 0.0 to mile marker 9.35. There was a 2.3 mile “No Work” zone from mile marker 0.9 to mile marker 3.2 which was not resurfaced. The project also included landscaping restoration and reseeding.
