CO 92 and CO 133 Chip Seal
About the Project
On Monday, July 15, crews nrgan applying protective material to several sections of Colorado Highway 92 in Montrose, Delta, and Gunnison counties, and a stretch of CO 133 in Delta County. Other work includes:
- spraying liquid oil to the road to reinforce it, making it more flexible and durable (aka fog seal);
- patching asphalt; and
- adding pavement markings to the road.
This project is part of CDOT's "Whole System. Whole Safety." initiative, aimed at enhancing safety for the traveling public. Work was completed at the end of August 2019.
