CO 82 Resurfacing from Glenwood Springs to Carbondale

About the Project
During this five-month project, crews resurfaced Colorado Highway 82 through Glenwood Springs southeast to Carbondale in Garfield County. CDOT prioritized this project based on public input and the deteriorating condition of the road.
Work included:
- upgrading utilities (May 13);
- replacing guardrail (May 15);
- improving curb ramps at 27th Street, Blake Avenue, Spring Valley road and CO 133 (mid-May); and
- milling, paving and striping the road (August);
This work was part of a $7.3 million contract that included road treatment work on US 6 from Rifle to New Castle.
