The project  supports CDOT's Whole System - Whole Safety initiative.

Crews have restored a 12.5-mile section of CO 52 from New Raymer south, using a process known as full-depth reclamation and overlay (reconstructing flexible pavement using the existing material as the base for the new roadway surface).

Progress

  • Complete: Asphalt reclamation and paving
  • Current work: Shouldering
  • Final work: Adding roadway striping, signs and delineators
