On Tuesday, May 30, 2017, crews began rehabilitation work on Colorado Highway 45 (aka, Pueblo Boulevard), from Colorado Highway 96 to US Highway 60 in Pueblo.

Work includes:

  • asphalt removal;
  • concrete and asphalt paving;
  • roadway-grade corrections;
  • highway shoulder work; and
  • traffic signal and control work.

Travel Impacts

  • Working hours: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, with night and weekend work as necessary
  • Single lane closures on CO 45
  • Major traffic shifts, allowing crews to work on the east side and west side of CO 45 separately
    • Traffic will first shift to the east side to allow completion of the west side.
    • Upon completion, traffic will be shifted to the west.
