CO 340 Bike/Pedestrian Improvements
Project complete
Project Overview
From May to October 2018, crews on this project moved vegetation on Colorado Highway 340 between Kansas Avenue and Grande Vista Drive, west of Grand Junction, to make way for a bicycle and pedestrian path.
This work will further improve bicyclist and pedestrian access, and interconnectivity in the area.
The project team also built a five-foot-wide concrete path, landscaped, added fencing, restored the site and seed, and completed curb-and-gutter and culvert work.
