CO 291/CR 154 Turn Lanes in Salida

Project Overview

In December 2019 the Colorado Department of Transportation completed the work on CO Highway 291, on the north side of Salida. Crews constructed acceleration and deceleration turn lanes for County Road 154, near the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. The work was a safety project that consisted of adding extra width to the road to accommodate traffic turning onto and out of CR 154.
