CO 141 Resurfacing Between Gateway & Whitewater

Project Overview
In July 2019, crews finished working on this road-surface-improvement project using a process called "hot in-place recycling" to repair and rehabilitate a 21-mile section of Colorado Highway 141, between the town of Gateway and the community of Whitewater in Mesa County.
Other work included:
- adding two feet of paved shoulder on each side of the highway
- replacing the guardrail and bridge rail in the project work area to bring them up to current standards
