CO 113 Structure Replacement in Peetz

Project Overview

In March, 2019, crews will begin removing an existing bridge near Peetz, CO and replacing it with a double cell concrete box culvert.  They will then widen the shoulders of the highway and overlay the entire project with fresh asphalt, new pavement markings and signage.  This will be beneficial to the public as the existing bridge is extremely old and the concrete box culvert will be a long lasting replacement.

Benefits

• This new concrete box structure will replace an aging structure and will allow water flow and stabilize the highway.
• Crews will also be widening out shoulders
• There will be fresh asphalt overlay
• New pavement markings and signs will also be installed
