About the Project
In November 2019, crews on this project will begin replacing traffic signals at three intersections in Broomfield County.
The impacted intersections are:
- CO 128 (West 120th Avenue) and Eldorado Boulevard
- Highway 287 and West Midway Boulevard
- Highway 287 and West 6th Avenue
Specific improvements include:
- Removing traffic signal and installing new ones
- ADA curb ramps
- Curb and gutter and sidewalk replacement
- Modification of pedestrian island
- Storm drain inlet protection
- Signing and striping
Traffic Impacts
- Crews will conduct daytime and nighttime activities, with traffic and pedestrian impacts during working hours.
- Daytime working hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with shoulder closure and possible pedestrian detours.
- Nighttime working hours are from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday with a single lane closure and possible pedestrian impacts.
