Wadsworth Parkway between 88th Avenue and 104th Avenue
Project completed
Project Overview
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) recently began a surface treatment on Wadsworth Parkway between 88th Avenue and 104th Avenue. The project will place six inches of concrete over the asphalt on approximately two miles of Wadsworth Parkway in order to extend the life of the pavement. Castle Rock Construction Co. is the contractor for this $4.7 million project scheduled to be complete by the end of December 2011.
Wadsworth Parkway has be placed in a temporary alignment, reducing Wadsworth Parkway to one lane in each direction, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Crews have begun rotomilling the existing asphalt and will then pave the highway in concrete.
