I-25 Speer Boulevard & 23rd Avenue Bridge Repairs
From June through November 2015, CDIT and Hamon Infrastructure completed a $3 million bridge repair project on the two Speer Boulevard bridges and 23rd Avenue bridge over I-25. This project expanded the bridges' lifespans and provided better clearance under the arch bridge girders on southbound I-25.
Bridge rehabilitation included joint elimination, waterproofing, frame leg encapsulation, door replacements, epoxy injections, minor widening of southbound I-25 with milling, resurfacing, restriping of these lanes, vertical clearance signage and striping on the girders.
