120th Avenue Connection Final Phase
Project completed
About the Project
Crews are in the final phase of this project, for which they're building a new, six-lane portion of Colorado Highway 128 and a bridge over US 36 that connects with Wadsworth Boulevard. This will connect CO 128 and 120th Avenue.
Crews also are constructing a grade separation at the BNSF Railroad. Additionally, a storm sewer will be constructed from 120th/US 287 to Main Street.
April 2018 Progress
Crews have opened a new concrete portion of US 287 east of Upham Street for eastbound traffic. They're also completing caisson for the retaining wall, and will excavate beneath the rail road after the caisson work.
