2024 NOFA Overview

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Division of Transit & Rail (DTR) is issuing a Notice of
Funding Availability (NOFA), and calling for various transit projects that would be initiated in calendar
year 2024 and completed within approximately one to two years, for the following four Federal Transit
Administration (FTA) and Clean Transit Enterprise (CTE) transit programs:

● FTA 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program (49 U.S.C 5310)
● FTA 5311 Rural Area Formula Program (49 U.S.C. 5311)
● FTA-5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Program (49 U.S.C .5339)
● State FASTER Transit funds
● Settlement Program funds
● CTE Vehicle Program
● CTE Infrastructure Program
● CTE Facilities Program
The NOFA and corresponding materials describe the available funding programs, applicant and project
eligibility, local match requirements, application preparation and submission guidelines, evaluation
criteria, DTR application review process, and the schedule for this call for projects.
All applications are due to DTR via submission in COTRAMS, DTR's online award management system, by
the designated day(s) set forth for each project as indicated on the 2024 NOFA Guidance document.
