Research Projects

Overview

Managing Colorado research projects is the largest component of the Research Development and Technology team. These projects directly address problems and needs affecting CDOT operations, and advance CDOT approaches and practices as knowledge, technology and needs change.

Research in Progress

The Transportation Research Board's Research in Progress (RIP) Database contains information on more than 10,000 current or recently completed transportation research projects. RIP records are primarily research projects funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, state Departments of Transportation, or universities. Find research specific to Colorado in the RIP Database, by using the search by State function: https://rip.trb.org/Results?ddlTrisfile=StateDOT&txtKeywords=&states=CO.

Rosa P

ROSA P is an Open Science Access Portal of the National Transportation Library. The name ROSA P was chosen to honor the role public transportation played in the civil rights movement, along with one of the important figures, Rosa Parks.
Founded as an all-digital library program, NTL’s collections in ROSA P include full-text digital publications, datasets, and other resources. Find research reports online at rosap.ntl.bts.gov.
