Congestion Mitigation & Air Quality Project Funding

The Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ) administered by FHWA funds surface transportation projects and other efforts that contribute to air quality and congestion improvements. Both CDOT’s Multimodal Planning Branch and the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) work with this funding source.
