CDOT to complete surface treatment on CO 145 south of Telluride
Travel Advisory
San Miguel County — Beginning next Tuesday, April 22, the Colorado Department of Transportation will perform routine crack sealing operations on Colorado Highway 145 between Society Turn Roundabout and Alta Lakes Road (Mile Points 71 to 66). Motorists should plan for full stops and up-to 30 minute delays, Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Crews will work swiftly to complete operations however, work is weather permitting.
Traffic Impacts
Beginning April 22, daytime work hours range from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Traffic impacts include:
- Motorists should plan for 15 to 30 minute delays and should allow for extra travel time
- Expect one-lane alternating traffic guided by signs, cones and flagging personnel
- Drivers should slow down and use extreme caution when approaching and driving through the work zone
- A speed reduction of 40 MPH will be enforced through the work zone
