Off-ramp work on I-25 at City Center in Pueblo

Pueblo — Pace Construction will be performing work to the Interstate 25 off-ramp at City Center Drive in Pueblo July 8 to July 12.
On Monday, July 8, during the daytime, work will close the left shoulder of the southbound City Center Drive off-ramp. Closures of the right lane of southbound I-25 at City Center Drive can be expected from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. nightly from Tuesday, July 9 through Friday, July 12. The overnight lane closures are necessary for traveler and crew safety while work is done.
Work is weather dependent.
I-25 at City Center Drive Impacts
Motorists and area residents can expect the following impacts:
- During daytime hours on July 8 through July 9, the left shoulder of the I-25 off-ramp will be closed at City Center Drive
- 2 to 4 a.m. Tuesday, July 9 to Friday, July 12, southbound right lane of I-25 at City Center Drive (Exit 98B) will be closed
- Reduced speeds in the work zone.
- Plan ahead and expect delays.

The following tips are to help you stay safe while traveling through maintenance and construction work zones.
- Do not speed in work zones. Obey the posted speed limits.
- Stay Alert! Expect the unexpected.
- Watch for workers. Drive with caution.
- Don't change lanes unnecessarily.
- Avoid using mobile devices such as phones while driving in work zones.
- Turn on headlights so that workers and other drivers can see you.
- Be especially alert at night while driving in work zones.
- Expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
- Allow ample space between you and the car in front of you.
- Anticipate lane shifts and merge when directed to do so.
- Be patient!
