Traffic alignment change requires full night closure of I-25 on May 23

Fort Collins – I-25 widening progresses as crews continue concrete paving. To shift I-25 traffic into a new alignment, a full closure of northbound I-25 from Harmony Road to Mulberry Street will take place the night of May 23.

The project will increase capacity on I-25 by adding an Express Lane in both directions, constructing inside and outside shoulders, and replacing aging bridges. The project will also improve multimodal access to regional transit.

Travel Impacts

• Full closure of northbound I-25 will take place from 9 p.m., Tuesday, until 5 a.m., Wednesday.
  • Northbound I-25 traffic will use Exit 265/Harmony Road turn right and continue east to Colorado Highway 257. Turn left and continue north to Mulberry Street. Turn left and proceed west to the northbound I-25 on-ramp. This detour is estimated to add an additional 15 minutes of time to your drive.
