New traffic pattern on US 50 near Pueblo Boulevard starts overnight on June 16
Travel Advisory
Pueblo County —On the morning of Friday, June 17, travelers will encounter a new traffic pattern on westbound US 50 near the intersection of Pueblo Boulevard. Single lane closures will take place overnight, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. to set the new traffic pattern. The new traffic pattern moves motorists out of the right lane. The right lane will be closed immediately following the CO 45 off-ramp and to the east of the US 50 and CO 45 intersection - allowing room for crews to work on the next phase of the project. This work includes the enhancement of drainage operations and adjustments to the grade of the highway. The right lane closure will remain in place through the end of the year.
Crews will work overnight on Wednesday night to set the new traffic pattern in place. Motorists are advised to expect minor delays during the overnight work on US 50. Please plan for additional travel time.
Normal working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The construction schedule is subject to change based on weather or unforeseen circumstances.
