CDOT conducting daytime chip seal operations the week of July 25
Travel Advisory
El Paso and Pueblo Counties — Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be conducting chip seal operations on CO 105 and CO 78 during the week of July 25. Chip sealing fills and seals cracks in the pavement, while prolonging the lifespan of the roadway. Chip sealing is also significantly less expensive than pavement overlay. Crews will be working daytime hours and traffic will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic or detoured off the impacted roadway.
