Travel Advisory
Weld County – The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin construction on the Timber Bridge preservation project in Weld County near Hudson and Keenesburg on March 6. A full road closure on Colorado Highway 52 will be in effect from March 6 to 12. Myers and Sons has been selected for the project, with work expected to be completed in April.
This bridge maintenance project has two locations, on CO 52 south of Keenesburg at Mile Point 32.83, and on CO 59 south of Haxtun at MP 139.75. The CO 52 Keenesburg bridge location will begin March 6 and includes complete deck removal, installation of sister beams, and placing a new concrete deck and paving over it. Work on the CO 52 Keenesburg bridge location will be performed 24 hours a day and will require a full road closure beginning March 6 after 10 p.m. through March 12 at 4 a.m. Traffic will be diverted to County Road 51, CR 10, and CR 53.
