North I-25 frontage road full closure for bridge approach reconstruction from April 25 to June 3
Travel Advisory
Loveland – As the Colorado Department of Transportation continues I-25 widening and Frontage Road improvements between Colorado Highway 402 and US Highway 34, crews will reconstruct the roadway approach slab on the north side of the Southeast Frontage Road bridge over the Big Thompson River.
To safely remove and replace the bridge approach slab, a full closure of the SE Frontage Road between Lucy Lane and Larimer County Road 20 will take place from April 25 through June 3.
When complete, the project will increase capacity on I-25 by adding an Express Lane in both directions, constructing inside and outside shoulders, and replacing other aging bridges. The project will also improve multimodal access to regional transit throughout the corridor.
Travel Impacts
Full closures of the SE Frontage Road over the Big Thompson River bridge between Lucy Lane and LCR 20 will take place from 7 a.m., April 25, until the afternoon of June 3. Access to local residences will be maintained. I-25 traffic will not be impacted during bridge approach reconstruction.
