I-25 Frontage Road (Elizabeth Street), Eagle Ridge to Ridge Road Resurfacing Begins in June

Beginning in June, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor Kiewit Infrastructure will begin work to resurface a portion of I-25 Frontage Road (Elizabeth Street) and the intersection of Eagleridge Boulevard and Ridge Road. The project will include milling and refilling asphalt and full depth reconstruction and intersection improvements.
“By resurfacing the I-25 Frontage Road, we are able to prolong the roadway's life upwards of 20 years and significantly save money on future maintenance costs,” said CDOT’s Executive Director Shoshana Lew.
Project Schedule & Impacts
Motorists can expect periodic lane closures along this corridor with minor traffic delays.
- Daytime work will occur Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Occasionally nighttime work When needed nighttime work will occur between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Motorists can expect single lane alternating traffic with flagging operations.
- Anticipated completion is August 2021; however, variations to this may occur due to unforeseen circumstances and weather delays.
