CO 114 west of Saguache: Paving project set for Tuesday & Wednesday this week

SAGUACHE COUNTY ― The Colorado Department of Transportation will perform paving operations this week on CO Highway 114, 14 miles west of the community of Saguache, milepoints 48-49. Work will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25 - 26.
Traffic Impacts
The two-day road maintenance operations will take place from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists will encounter full stops, lane shifts and one-lane alternating traffic guided by flagging personnel and pilot vehicles. Travelers can expect delays and should allow themselves extra travel time. A speed reduction of 40 MPH will be in place and drivers should slow down and use extreme caution when approaching the work zone. Motorists are urged to be aware of work crews and heavy equipment.
