Great Western Railroad Bridge work over I-25 requires weekend closure of the LCR 20E Bridge July 15-19

Loveland - The Colorado Department of Transportation progresses on construction of the second phase of the Great Western Railroad bridge over I-25, between Colorado Highway 402 and US Highway 34. The second portion of the new bridge is currently being constructed adjacent to the final location and will be rolled into place, July 15-19. Crews will continue widening I-25 in the area through 2023, with most of the work taking place in already established work zones outside of traffic lanes.
Travel Impacts
Full closure of the Larimer County Road 20E Bridge over I-25 between CO 402 and US 34 from 8 a.m., July 15, until 5 a.m., July 19.
- LCR 20E Bridge over I-25 detours:
- Northbound LCR 20E bridge traffic over I-25 will detour north on Boyd Lake Avenue to US 34 then turn east and continue over I-25.
- Southbound traffic will continue south on Boyd Lake to County Road 9E and continue to CO 402, turn east and continue over I-25.
