Alternating traffic and delays in place on CO 145 north of Dolores
Travel Advisory
MONTEZUMA COUNTY ― A rock fall has occurred on CO Highway 145 between Dolores and Rico, near the small community of Stoner and CR 38 (Mile Point 27). A significant sized boulder has landed in the southbound lane. Traffic control personnel are on site and providing traffic guidance with one lane alternating traffic movement.
Maintenance and engineering personnel with equipment are enroute to evaluate what will be required for removal of the boulder from the roadway.
Travelers are strongly urged to slow down and watch for workers and equipment. Motorists should allow for extra travel time. Traffic delays may be possible through the weekend.
