Overnight Lane Closures on I-25 Next Week

COLORADO SPRINGS – Motorists should plan for nighttime lane closures on northbound Interstate 25 at the U.S. 24/Cimarron St. exit, on July 15 and July 16, as the Colorado Department of Transportation conducts bridge repairs over Colorado Avenue.

A double lane closure will be in place beginning at 9 p.m. The closure, which will include the northbound on-ramp at Cimarron, will extend to Bijou Street. One lane of traffic will remain open each night and uniform traffic control will be in the area to enforce the reduced speed limit of 55 mph. Delays are expected in the area and motorists should plan accordingly.

Lane closures will be picked up by 5 a.m.
