I-70 Mountain Corridor Alert: Glenwood Canyon Closed
COLORADO – I-70 is currently CLOSED due to a rock slide in Glenwood Canyon, approximately five miles east of Glenwood Springs.
STATUS UPDATE

There is no estimated time of reopening.

Eastbound traffic is being stopped at MP 116.

Westbound traffic is being stopped at MP 133.
-
Crews with heavy equipment are on the scene clearing rock and boulders.

No vehicles were involved in the rock slide and no injuries are reported.

All passenger vehicles have been cleared from the scene. Commercial semis are currently being cleared.

A geo-hazard team is on the scene accessing the slope where the slide occurred.
