Eric Hill Memorial Service & funeral procession is scheduled for Saturday
STATEWIDE ― The family of Eric Hill has scheduled a memorial service to celebrate his life on Saturday, Mar. 23 at 11:00 A.M. The service will take place at the Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds. A procession of agency vehicles including Gypsum Fire, CDOT, Colorado State Patrol and many others will escort the family to the venue. The public is invited to attend the service. The Eagle River Center is located at 794 Fairgrounds Rd., Eagle, CO 81631
Details on the timing and staging for the procession will be released later this week.
Mr. Hill was with Gypsum Fire Protection District for 19 years as a volunteer and paid Lieutenant and EMT-B. He also served as a Lieutenant with Greater Eagle Fire Protection District. A lifelong native of Gypsum, Mr. Hill graduated in 1986 from Eagle Valley High School. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. He is survived by his wife, Cissy, two grown children, Kasie Reynolds-Vasquez and Tyler Dohman, and a nine-year-old son, Brodie Hill, as well as two granddaughters. Mr. Hill worked as a Transportation Maintenance employee in Gypsum.
