TRAVEL ADVISORY: Maintenance Crews to Patch Potholes along US 160, West Pagosa Springs

January 31, 2019 - Southwestern Colorado - Motorists urged to SLOW DOWN

SOUTHWEST COLORADO ― Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be working on US Highway 160 in West Pagosa Springs next week. Crews will be repairing potholes along a three-mile stretch of US 160 between Scenic Avenue and Piedra Road, mile points 138-141.

TRAVEL IMPACTS:

Crews will be working from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, February 4-8, weather permitting. Motorists will encounter brief delays of up to 15 minutes. Motorists should be aware of shoulder and lane closures, lane shifts and reduced speeds. Additionally, travelers should expect light signals along this corridor to be turned off with traffic controlled by flagging personnel, while work in being performed near those intersections. Intersections which will be impacted include: Pagosa Boulevard, Aspen Village Drive and Piedra Road.

CDOT urges the traveling public to slow down and be aware of workers and equipment on the roadway.
