TRAFFIC ADVISORY:  Southbound and Northbound I-25 Woodmen Road On- and Off-Ramp Lane Closure, Woodmen Road Lane Closure

Colorado Springs – Next week there will be daytime shoulder closures on northbound and southbound I-25 for prep work and painting. In addition, there will be daytime lane closures on the I-25 and Woodmen Road on- and off-ramps for curb and gutter work.

Daytime Shoulder Closures on Northbound and Southbound I-25

Daytime right shoulder closures on northbound and southbound I-25 for painting and sign installation.

  • 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 and Thursday, Jan. 24.

Daytime Lane Closures on Northbound and Southbound I-25 On- and Off-Ramps at Woodmen Road

Daytime single lane closures on northbound and southbound I-25 on- and off-ramps at Woodmen Road.

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 (left lane closure on southbound on- and off-ramps)

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Wednesday, Jan. 23 (right lane closure on southbound on- and off-ramps)

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 (right lane and right turn lane closure on northbound off-ramp)

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 (right turn lane closure on northbound on-ramp)

Construction schedules are subject to change based on weather/unforeseen circumstances. Speed reduction to 55 mph in construction zone during the duration of the project.

PROJECT INFORMATION: The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has initiated a bridge and driving surface preventative maintenance project on ten bare concrete bridges near the Interstate-25 Rockrimmon interchange that will improve safety and ride quality. This project is part of the ongoing CDOT Asset Management / Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program that began approximately ten years ago to extend the life of the state’s bridge structures to 75 years.
