Green Truss Bridge in Final Configuration

— The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor Flatiron Constructors, Inc. are pleased to announce that Santa Fe Avenue (US 50C) over the green truss bridge is now in final configuration.

Both lanes southbound and northbound are now open and construction is substantially complete.

CDOT thanks motorists and the surrounding businesses for their patience during the rehabilitation of this historic 94-year-old structure.

PROJECT INFORMATION: The I-25 Ilex Street to City Center Drive project is the first project of the New Pueblo Freeway: the reconstruction of I-25 between City Center Drive (1st Street) and Ilex Street through downtown Pueblo. Construction includes upgrading several bridges south of downtown. The project began in July 2015, and is scheduled to be complete by spring 2019.
