Bustang® Bridging the Gap in 2019

Jan. 3, 2019 - The Colorado Department of Transportation is doing its part to alleviate congestion through the Interstate 25 Gap with weekday Bustang express service between Colorado Springs and the Denver Technological Center (DTC).

In addition to serving one of the largest employment centers along the Front Range, expanding the number of trips between the two cities helps to relieve commuter traffic along I-25, including the 18-mile Gap segment currently under construction between Monument and Castle Rock.

The new circulator route runs four times each weekday – twice in the morning from Colorado Springs to the DTC and twice in the afternoon from the DTC to Colorado Springs.  It stops at 16 locations between Arapahoe Road/Yosemite Street and the RTD Light Rail Belleview Station.

A one-way fare between El Paso County and the DTC is $9.

Bustang currently provides service seven times each weekday between Colorado Springs and Downtown Denver.

Ace Express Coaches of Golden contracts with CDOT to operate Bustang.
